That’s why we’ve traveled to earth to share our unique sound, born from the depths of Schmegmoid One.

The Schmegmatics’ Story:

Growing up on Schmegmoid 1, we were your typical young lads – sports enthusiasts, charming ladies, and music lovers. Our teenage years were filled with girlfriends, school, and the sounds of our planet’s unique music scene, eerily similar to Earth’s. But as misfits, we yearned to create our own tunes.

In our late teens, our restless energy and quirks led the Council of Elders to exile us to Earth. New York City became our new playground. We dispersed, exploring separate paths, yet united by our passion for music.

Early Demos:

Throughout our 20s and 30s, we crafted demos, honing our sound and style. Life happened, and our musical pursuits took a backseat. We settled down, got married, and raised families.

Rebirth and Debut Album:

Years later, with our kids flown the coop, we reunited to revisit our musical passion. We revisited those early demos, reworked, and refined them. The result is our debut album, “Schmegmatones,” featuring 19 tracks that showcase our eclectic style.

“It’s Time To Go”:

Our featured song, “Time To Go,” embodies our renewed energy and dedication to music. We’re back, and it’s time to take our music to the next level.

Current Status:

We’re writing and recording in our personal studios and having group sessions online. Gathering occasionally at RockAway Studios in Queens New York.

MEET THE BAND

BRIAN

As the bass player and vocalist of The Schmegmatics, Brian is a creative force to be reckoned with. Brian hails from the distant planet of Schmegmoid One. His subtle shape-shifting abilities have allowed him to blend in seamlessly with Earth’s inhabitants. A slight adjustment to his eye color, a tweak to his facial structure, and he’s indistinguishable from the locals. But when he takes the stage, his true self shines through in his dynamic performances and eclectic bass lines.

Guitarist and vocalist, is a being of artistic expression and enthusiasm. Danny was born on Schmegmoid One. His natural charisma and stage presence have been honed through years of performing for his fellow Schmegmoidians. Danny changed his hair texture quickly. He slightly modified his skin tone. These changes helped him adapt to life on Earth. Yet, his music remains a vibrant reflection of his offbeat personality. His guitar playing is a fusion of Schmegmoidian flair and Earthly influences, creating a unique sonic experience.

Guitarist and vocalist, is the stalwart heartbeat of The Schmegmatics. A principled being with a strong sense of tradition, Mitch brings a sense of continuity to the band’s music. Growing up on Schmegmoid One, Mitch developed a deep understanding of the ancient Schmegmoidian customs and musical heritage. Mitch has slightly adjusted his vocal timbre and tweaked his mannerisms. He has learned to navigate Earth’s social nuances. Yet, his loyalty and dedication to his bandmates stay unwavering.
